Use this chart to convert any tincture's labeled potency (total mg per bottle) into a dose you can actually measure — by ml, by drop, or by full pipette.

The formula
Tincture potency math
mg per ml = total mg ÷ bottle volume (ml)mg per drop = mg per ml ÷ 20Example: a 30 ml tincture labeled 750 mg works out to 25 mg/ml and 1.25 mg/drop. To hit a 10 mg dose you'd take 0.4 ml — about 8 drops, or a little under half a pipette.
How to find YOUR tincture's strength
Homemade tinctures don't come with a label. Estimate total mg with the standard infusion math:
Homemade tincture mg
Total mg = flower (g) × THC % × 10 × extraction efficiencyMost QWET and Green Dragon batches land at 50–80% efficiency. For a 7 g batch of 20% THC flower at 70% efficiency: 7 × 20 × 10 × 0.7 = 980 mg total. Plug that into the chart above for a 30 ml bottle and you're at ~32 mg/ml.
