In 5 steps: bloom gelatin in cold juice → heat gently → off heat, stir in tincture → fill molds → refrigerate. ~15 active minutes, 2 hours to set.
What you need
- ½ cup fruit juice (avoid pineapple, kiwi, mango — their enzymes block gelatin)
- 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
- 1–2 tbsp cannabis tincture
- Silicone gummy molds (1–2 ml cavities)
The 5 steps
- Bloom gelatin. Sprinkle gelatin over cold juice in a saucepan. Wait 5 minutes — the granules swell.
- Heat gently. Low heat, stir until clear. Never boil (above 165°F denatures the protein).
- Off heat, add tincture. Cool for 1–2 minutes so the alcohol doesn't flash off, then stir in tincture and any sweetener.
- Fill molds. Dropper into each cavity. Work fast — gelatin sets quickly.
- Chill. Refrigerate 2+ hours until firm. Pop out, store airtight up to 2 weeks.
Dose per gummy
Total tincture mg ÷ number of gummy cavities = mg per gummy. Use the dosage calculator to find your tincture's total mg, then divide.
